Chiraag ‘Chi’ Kapoor
Chi, KITC’s President and Chief Executive Officer, has been working in the Government Contracting industry for the past 15+ years. Chi has supported IT Contractors as an auditor, consultant, commercial banker and active member of the Government Contracting community.
Chi started his career auditing technology companies at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He served six years as a Commercial Banker, with a focus on business development, underwriting, and financing IT Contractors. From helping emerging contractors get their first lines of credit to structuring large M&A transactions, Chi has deep experience helping Government Contractors grow.
Chi has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and a Bachelors of Science in Commerce with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. Chi is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia and continues to be an avid supporter and fan of The Virginia Cavaliers, Wahoowa!
Hemant Datta
Hemant Datta is an Information Technology Executive, entrepreneur, mentor, advisor and board member. He has over 20 years’ of experience leading multimillion dollar technology projects, leveraging his leadership skills, strategic thinking and innovation. He was the co-founder of JHC Technology where he helped lead several organizations and government agencies to adopt disruptive technologies like Cloud Computing, build content management solutions, and implement strategic business processes to help achieve technology modernization goals.
Prior to starting JHC Technology, Hemant led several projects at Booz Allen Hamilton supporting DHS ICE, the FBI, and the NIH. He was the Project/Capture Manager and Technical Lead of the Unified Management Financial System (UFMS) project with the FBI and also led the efforts of architecting and implementing digital intranet and extranet portal environments for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) to support its mission to improve economic conditions for developing countries. He helped grow their project revenue by 30 percent in a year.
Hemant’s expertise expands across identifying and capturing new business opportunities, establishing partner relationships, and nurturing client relationships. His experienced background includes adhering to CMMI, ITIL, and PMP standards to ensure quality service delivery to the highest levels of success for customers. He has been involved in a diverse range of technology projects across multiple industries ranging from enterprise cloud architecture deployments, network infrastructure, systems architecture, application development, and full life-cycle implementation to systems integration solutions with industry leading technologies.
Hemant is a certified SCORE mentor and has also served as a Board of Director at Alliance for Digital Innovation (ADI), an organization that helps the government adopt innovative commercial technologies. He has an MBA from George Washington University and a master’s degree in information technology from Virginia Tech.
Ajay Kapoor, CISSP
Ajay, KITC’s Chief Information Officer, has more than 40 years of experience in Aerospace Engineering and IT Security. He has managed disciplined teams that have focused on the successful delivery of information technology and cyber-security solutions for Federal and State Agencies.
Ajay has served as a Principal Security Consultant for the past 14 years, where he implemented numerous Security Authorization packages. He has held senior technical positions with Tantus Tech, eGlobalTech, GDIT, ITT, Stanford Telecom, BTG, and CSC.
Ajay has a Masters of Science in Engineering Management with a concentration in Information Security from George Washington University and a Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Maryland College Park. Ajay is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and continues to be a strong supporter and avid fan of The Maryland Terrapins, Go Terps!
Francis Benjamin
Francis CCSP, CISSP, CISA, PMP, PMI-ACP, Director of Cybersecurity Practice, has over 20 years of IT Security and Project Management experience. He has supported a variety of federal government departments and agencies in information security certification and accreditation of their systems, including GSA, FEMA, DOD, Commerce, Homeland Security, and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
From 2011 to 2014, Francis provided Cloud Security support for the GSA FedRAMP Program Management Office (PMO) in reviewing and assessing Cloud Service Provider’s FedRAMP applications.
Francis holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Southeastern University, and has an in-depth knowledge of various IT technologies and security standards. He also holds several IT certifications, including Checkpoint Certified Security Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Associate, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, CompTIA’s Cloud+, Security+, Network+, and A+.
Francis has also been an Adjunct Professor with the University of Maryland’s University College (UMUC) CMIT Department since 2005.
Jason Jaworski
Mr. Jason Jaworski has 15 years of experience in the IT industry and is a results oriented technologist and subject matter expert in Cybersecurity. He has a strong skillset in handling and managing multiple systems and major applications through the successful completion of the certification and accreditation, SDLC, and RMF processes. He’s also highly skilled in Information Assurance disciplines, and implementing security policies and procedures.
Mr. Jaworski plays a vital role as a cybersecurity leader, taking charge of the strategic direction, development, and implementation of information security programs and projects to address risks relevant to the attainment of organizational strategic goals. He holds degrees in Information System Security and Information Assurance from Capitol College in Maryland and University of Phoenix in Arizona. Outside of work you’ll find him traveling, playing golf, or scuba diving.
