Francis Benjamin

Biography

Francis CCSP, CISSP, CISA, PMP, PMI-ACP, Director of Cybersecurity Practice, has over 20 years of IT Security and Project Management experience. He has supported a variety of federal government departments and agencies in information security certification and accreditation of their systems, including GSA, FEMA, DOD, Commerce, Homeland Security, and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

From 2011 to 2014, Francis provided Cloud Security support for the GSA FedRAMP Program Management Office (PMO) in reviewing and assessing Cloud Service Provider’s FedRAMP applications. Francis holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Southeastern University, and has an in-depth knowledge of various IT technologies and security standards. He also holds several IT certifications, including Checkpoint Certified Security Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Associate, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, CompTIA’s Cloud+, Security+, Network+, and A+. Francis has also been an Adjunct Professor with the University of Maryland’s University College (UMUC) CMIT Department since 2005.
