Michael Tegel

Biography

Mr. Tegel is a seasoned executive with extensive experience supporting federal agencies in both the civilian and defense markets. Over his career, he has led a wide range of engagements, from short-term direct contracts to overseeing $100M+ Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts spanning multiple years.

Starting his career as a proprietary trader in Chicago, Mr. Tegel transitioned to the Washington D.C. region in 2010, where he has since managed numerous projects in organizational optimization, strategy, and financial management. He was pivotal in the growth of a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, which later achieved a successful acquisition. Following this, Mr. Tegel spent over five years with a large corporation, supporting clients in the Financial Services industry.

He holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Loyola University Chicago. Mr. Tegel is also a PMI-certified Project Management Professional. His deep expertise in federal business development and strategic leadership will be invaluable as KITC accelerates its growth in cybersecurity and cloud services, expanding its impact across key markets.
